  • Ease & Predictability in Your Parenting Schedule

“Working with Meg really helped me clarify my energetic boundaries with my co-parent, how to listen more authentically without taking on his story.

Her suggestion for the midweek and weekend transition is going to work well for us I think. I met with him this morning and he really likes the schedule-for the predictability and easy way to plan for transitions.

We're going to try it for 3 months and then reassess. I can see how my calm/clear approach shifted how he responded to me and I think we're off on a much better path.

Thank you SO MUCH Meg for your time, expertise, and wisdom!”

Here’s how we do it…

As a divorce & co-parenting coach, I'm here to guide you through the challenging process of divorce, offering support and practical solutions to help you thrive in your post-divorce life. Here's what I can do for you:

  • Emotional Support and Resilience: I listen to your concerns, provide emotional support, and teach techniques to help you build resilience to manage stress and uncertainty during this challenging time.

  • Planning and Goal Setting: I work with you to set specific, achievable goals and create a plan, whether it's handling legal matters, managing finances, changing careers (or going back to work) or setting-up your post-divorce life.

  • Practical Tools and Resources: I offer tools and resources to help you make decisions, improve communication, and navigate co-parenting or parallel parenting.

  • Preparation for Legal and Financial Matters: I help you prepare for key meetings with your co-parent, mediators, attorneys, financial experts, or other professional support, by making sure you're organized, have all the necessary information, and understand your options. (I can also provide referrals to professionals.)

  • Managing Difficult Exs: If you're dealing with challenging communication, or just don’t seem to be on the same page as your Ex, I can offer strategies for communication and boundary-setting to keep things as calm as possible.

  • Personal Growth and Development: I'll guide you through exercises to grow your self confidence, discover your strengths, and find new interests or goals.

  • Transitioning to a New Life: I can support you as you adjust to new living arrangements, consider re-entering the workforce, or explore new relationships.

Gaining New Perspectives & Moving Forward

  • "From our very first meeting, Meg ushered me gently through the constraints of my brain... I was amazed at how often I cast myself in the role of victim. I'm rewriting the script now. Meg prodded, cajoled, laughed, shared, listened, reflected, and opened new windows, and helped me close old doors. The fresh air is so good!"

What do we talk about in sessions…

Sample topics for a Coaching Session:

  • Preparing for meetings: mediation, co-parenting, or attorney.

  • Developing a plan for handling a holiday parenting schedule change.

  • Creating a strategy for handling texts from your co-parent that feel triggering.

  • Talking through the behavior of a step-parent and deciding how you want to communicate their concerns.

  • Deciding on your career goals, given your parenting schedule, and crafting an action plan for the next 3 months.

  • Making your plan for telling your kids about the divorce.

  • Looking at your finances so that you understand what you need to post-divorce.

Additionally, in each session, you’re invited to bring a “hot topic” you want help with. I’ll coach you on the issue so that you can leave with clear next steps, decisions made, and new strategies & tools.
